saturday things (with some leftover friday things ;)

did NOT risk wearing the ruby slippers to dinner last night. probably as well as people at the 'fancy' restaurant had torn earlobes, tattoos and jeans. tisk. and sigh.

yesterday i painted the entire den the color 'cozy cottage' hoping it would transform the room into just that. this morning i peeked in and it was still huge and clinical. dang. i need nate berkus. and to sue the paint company for failing to deliver said cozy cottage as promised. having said that, i do like it. but still in an auditorium kind of way.

today i made an apple pie. with my hand on my heart i have to say it was the best ever. to quote a really gross sweaty man on kitchen nightmares... it was 'sex on a plate' (???????????!)

today's playlist: since i am so add at making playlists i chose a letter with my eyes closed and play everything starting with..... B.
umm... that is basketcase by greenday
beachball by rem (dewicious)
billy ray cyrus (filed under b for billy:)'s achey breaky heart which i confess to LOOVE
birthday by the beatles
bridge over troubled water by s&g
and one MUST HEAR song by barry manilow called bobbie lee about a sassy ho. she gets by by selling honey ;) oh but she don't want you feeling funny :) barry manilow i totally LOVE you to jupiter and back.

watched the sex and the city movie in bed last night. 5 pillows are just the right amount for 150 minutes of crying - you can change your head pillow every 30 minutes but a smart tip is to save the king size for last. i still can't help seethingly hating those women for walking away from me for absolutely no reason in february 2004. but i did love the movie and have dreamed a dozen times it is coming back on the air only to wake up feeling dissed all over again :(

  1. Hello my friend! You know iTunes 8 has a new thingy called Genius. You pick one song out of your library and click the genius button and it makes a playlist based on that one song. You can do it with 25, 50, 75, or 100 songs. It's really genius and works really well. It picks songs based on the song you selected. You can also refresh it until you get a list you like. Cool huh?
