sunday

yesterday we picked apples in oak glen. it must have been 30 degrees below freezing, i am not kidding! luckily we had emergency sweaters in the car but the boys still whined nonstop about it being too cold to unscrew the apples from the trees - you can't tug... you must unscrew like lightbulbs... but those apples were the freshest, yummiest, sweetest EVER! almost too good to give their lives for apple pie...

it didnt take danny long to find the warmest place on the farm :)

then we went to the dinosaur museum in palm springs. danny was SO EXCITED, he got to climb into the huge T Rex's mouth and roar at people standing on the ground, ride a huge robotic mantellisaurus, dig for dinosaur bones, pan for gold... it's all great fun for little boys who love dinosaurs. and their mamas and papas :)
his true feelings for the dinosaur museum were closely guarded in the first couple of pics... but he DID love it!

Carol!!! We were at Oak Glen on Sat too!!! Duh! It was too cold and crowded. The tractor at Riley's scared F, so she was a whiney grump all day. Next year, we are going in Nov - after the crowds and the apples are gone.

I so miss seeing your posts on Flickr.
