today i saw a 'make your own dog biscuits kit' in my favorite ever store, Joann's (i have three coupons this week:) as I pondered aloud if i really need such a kit, suddenly every single member of the line spun around and started sharing fond tales about labs who love doggie-modified banana bread, recipes for first birthday 'pupcakes', heart shaped bones... a warm fuzzy secret sisterhood to which i was immediately welcomed with recipes and advice:) there i was thinking i was a good mom to my dogs all these years... suffice to say i spent the evening baking them 'i'm sorry' cookies....
one more thing i love about Joann's... those sweet soft spoken old ladies who work there, who call you 'hun' and smell like parma violets. they just warm the cockles of my heart. i admit one is pretty mean, but i can give just as good as i get to that old battle axe ;)
in 48 hours i will either be packing for England or listening to Dido's 'Thank You' followed by Alanis' 'Thank U' followed by Tori's 'Thank You' followed by Duran Duran's 'Thank You'....
