wednesday

oh for the love of pete. it wasn't even 33 seconds this morning. it was more like 22 :|

as i braced myself to turn on the kettle as slowly and silently as i could, i heard THE DOOR creak open and an ear piercing "TOOT! TOOT!! TOOT!!! TOOOOOOT!!!!" from the 'musical instrument' Danny got with a kid meals last night. thanks, John from John's Place :|

which woke Sam up in the foulest mood e-v-e-r.... he never wants to go to school again, he hates that place, if it's not so bad maybe i should go in his place. sigh. now he is laying on the couch hating me for not letting him call in sick for the last week of school and Danny is dancing around the house playing a 'tune' while dogs scatter in every direction everytime he blows that whistle and the little bird outside is almost whistling himself to death trying to compete :|

and as if all that wasn't bad enough.... this morning i accidentally opened a banana cream pie yogurt instead of boston cream pie :( i thought it must be off, it tasted so odd. so i begged my children to eat it, but they refused. i can't throw it away but i cannot eat it either.... i cannot possibly squander 100 calories so frivolously... but there are people starving in Ethiopia (at least they were in 1983..) and i feel horrible throwing it away... what to do... what to do...

tomato soup with heel of bread
umm, a little more bread....
John's Place onion rings and french fries (hangs head in shame....)
one freddo frog (hangs head in shame....)
