everything is so very wrong today

first i woke up with the world's worst headache. i think... i maybe just might have a cold :| those commercials on tv where they show a head throbbing with big red circles emitting from the sinus area... that's how i feel but a hundred times worse. and can i remember what the commercial was selling? nope. so i hope two aleve and 3 cups of nescafe do the trick. which reminds me, Danny uses that expression ALL THE TIME and it's adorable 'ohh yes, this book will do the trick!' he cracks me up :)

next i decided to make backup dvds of all my pics in a fit of uncharacteristic usefulness. seriously the instructions might as well be in chinese, they make no sense - there are two usb cables and it doesn't tell me which one is the right one - who on earth do they think i am, Bill Gates? i gambled and plugged one in - lights and sounds whirred to life and i clapped my hands with frenzied excitement only to be told by my computer: 'not responding'. arghh! it has been in a frozen state ever since - damn you computer!

next the toilet. the water won't stop swishing around in the tank. i was in water torture hell for like an HOUR waiting for it to stop when i suddenly realized - it was broken :| i was forced to investigate, but even lifting that big cover is very difficult for a lady such as myself. but nooo, i had to put my hands inside that tank and lift up a huge ball, at which point it stopped. silence!! i tried to put it gently back down and whooosh! again with the water rushing sound!! stop!!! so i lifted it up and tried to prop it but it was unproppable - i was going to have to spend my ENTIRE DAY holding that big ball up inside the toilet :( i finally jerry-rigged the contraption to hold it's own weight and fingers crossed, so far my plumbing solution is working....

next i decided to vacuum - being poorly i instructed my robot to do it for me. i hate that robot. if it was a person it would be a snarky teenage boy with wispy facial hair, a too-long fringe and a penchant for school shooting video games, who's laundry i NEVER want to have to smell. it's lazy and does half a job, if that :| it hides under the bed pretending it's done and texts it's friends. this morning, since i had a HEADACHE FROM HELL so it decided to be super loud and annoying and seemed to be turning and aiming for the pets for absolutely no reason other than to be annoying. i gave a small 'tap' to remind it who's boss and now it is super quiet and super moody and hardly picking up ANYTHING anymore. urgh, how i dread the teenage years - if this robot is any kind of simulation of what's to come, i am officially screwed.

soooo, in a last ditch effort to claim back my day, i am going to Superior Market in downtown Santa Ana!! because the day can get no worse... right....? back later with a clearer head (hopefully)
