because it's 4am and i am up and at 'em. and so is a cat digging foreverrrr in the litter box. and a dog trip trapping around, anxious to go for a walk even though it's pouring with rain outside. it's 4 a freaking m, guys : go back to bed already!!!!
why am i up at 4am... because my 'baby' is 5 years old and realized, while looking through his older brother's comprehensive journal of his first four years, that he does not have a baby book of his own :( not a single solitary book with details of the day he was born or a funny anecdote about his first taste of carrots or a picture of his first ride on an airplane :( i am officially the worst mom ever :( and i intend to fix it forthwith.

ReplyDeleteso what kind of book you makin? are you gonna get the prints and put them in a book, or are you gonna make a digital book and have it printed?
It was so fun to see him as a baby again....he was delightfully chunky like my Sugar. ♥
You're such a great mom, and these pictures are sooooo great. I guess danny doesn't get the argument that his childhood+archives are fully digital...

ReplyDeleteI love the way you parent your children and (at the risk of sounding corny) I only hope I can be half the mum to Thomas that you are to your boys.
And you do have a 'baby book' for Danny. You may not be able to turn it's pages (yet) but you have recorded every detail of his life in photographs which is way cooler than any fill-in-the-blanks record book and only proves that you are an awesome mum. So there.
And lastly - they make blue suede shoes for babies ??? Who? Where? Must. Have!

ReplyDeleteCorey i am TRYING to make a proper photobook, i want to make an asuka book but the choice is overwhelming there. it's going to be a thick book too so i want to get a decent one so i dont have to stress about the printing quality... and the thought of making like 5 separate books makes me ill :)
Tarnya 'see kai run' used to sell blue suede shoes and i just checked and they don't have any anymore :( i even checked the garage incase i saved them but i gave them away. they were very cute but completely useless for little boys who love mud and puddles :) they have some other ones on amazon if they might fit Thomas? they are only in size 3 which is pretty small, my boys first shoes were size 6. i will gladly send them to him if they fit though (and keep an eye out for some) xoxo
