lose it

i am so completely ready to delete that stupid 'lose it' app and give it a MINUS ZERO star rating. if it didn't promise it would have me at my drivers license weight by 16 april 2010, it would be soooo gone already in a puff of accrid smoke :| but my DMV appointment is this thursday and i really need to lose 20 pounds in 3 days so i guess i will grudgingly stick it out for a couple more days at least :(

anyway, i am over my calorie limit for the second consecutive day... i have been on the program for 2 days:| i need to somehow burn 263 calories and not eat another thing today, even though i haven't eaten since noon, when i very foolishly indulged in a large fry-up of sausages, eggs and baked beans :| but ohhh it was soooo good! dang it, i totally forgot to add on the calories for the piece and a half of bread i used to make delicious sausage sandwiches with :( and the ginger cat cookies :( oh 'lose it' - you are very mean to me :(

another thing that really really bugs me - i have been looking through the exercises for hours now to see what i can do to burn the 263 calories... i get 176 calories for walking the dogs for an HOUR.... but only 110 calories if i'm pushing a stroller :| why???! this is so unfair!!! surely the calories burnt answering constant questions and catching dropped dinosaurs and searching in the basket for drinks and goldfish count for something???!

anyway... here are my options to burn the 263 calories i am 'overdrawn':
  • 1 hour of nonstop tap dancing
  • 2 hours of vacuuming
  • 3 hours of yoga
  • 1.25 hours of juggling (i wonder if it's less if you can only do 2 balls instead of 3... it doesn't specify number of balls)
  • 45 mins of lawn mowing (which would be great except it's pouring with rain and pitch dark outside and i am scared of running over a snail)
  • playing an instrument playing for 4 hours straight (doesn't say what instrument)
  • 7 hours of ahem, 'vigorous' bedroom activity *blush*
  • OR just 30 minutes of tobogganing!!!
i neeeed to go tobogganing!!! i think it's just sitting in a little cart whizzing along paths at 100 mph, right?? i can do that! and not have to vacuum and juggle for hours on end to lose weight :) note to self: google tobogganing!! also another note to self: no more fry-ups :|

  1. I'm telling you, I lost 15 lbs by not eating carbs in a couple of months or less... and you'll feel better! Bacon and eggs for breakfast everyday for me! Let me know if you want book recommendations :)
