today's to dos

i am taking a day off from running between here and there, clock-watching the whole time, to just relax, drink more tea and indulge in these silly little projects that are the perfect waste of a day....

• i am going to send more text messages today

• administer Danny's very first spelling test (with words such as A, I and like :) he is VERY excited!!

• put a Freddo Frog in each of the boys' lunchboxes as a sweet surprise

• take more pictures (a new lens arriving momentarily helps in that regard:)

• take a drive down a very quiet country lane listening to 'Blackbird' by the Beatles

• shop for some clothes

• even try on some shoes

• make avocado on toast for lunch

• color my hair

• play some tetris (sadly addicted... maybe Dr Drew has a rehab center for this?!)

• give Jerry the rat some well deserved snuggles and maybe a bath :)

• eat a couple of teeny tiny scones with jam and cream (and more tea)

• make pizza with 7 different kinds of veggies

• let the boys get McDonald for dinner

• watch Cash Cab with Melissa again this time with the boys (they got a glimpse - they were sooo excited!!) she looked so glowy and gorgeous and SMART!! the Sextillus question was hard... i would have said September because i am that dumb... and would surely have suffered from word salad and blurted out "pantiliner!" or something nonsensical and embarrassing, due to the stress of being in the 'hot seat'... she did awesome and was soooo cool!)
