Osama Obama and Burbs :0

made far far far too many bowls of delicious guacamole that were eaten with far too many bowls of stacey's pita chips.... the fat-fest is officially over now (yes i know it's the good fat and all...) NO MORE CHIPS AND DIP!

test drove a Chevy Tahoe hoping i'd loooove it and want one (it tows - and minivans don't tow anything very big...) anyway i didn't fall in love, except for feeling a little bit like an FBI agent getting in and out. i am going to sound SO AMERICAN but it's kind of teeny on the inside. no room on the floor for coolers and bags. also looked at the "Burb" (i'm quoting you Misti... i love that word:) but it's just too big lengthwise and i fear i'd never find a free parking space in Laguna Beach ever again. it's like a schoolbus but it doesn't come in bright yellow with black stripes.... so we're back to the Toyota Siena drawing board (as i suspected all along that we might be;)

noticed a teeny tiny line on yahoo last night "Osama Bin Laden: Dead" what??! hmm, curious... and why so tiny??!! BBC refused to believe it and "quoted" Obama himself announcing it (gosh i looove the British for being so skeptical) but this morning they too say it's true ;) they must have seen a head on a stick! and: phew. (now can we pleeease stop taking off our shoes at the airports....? i hate walking barefoot next to strangers who might have verucas or at the very least athlete's foot...)

hated the chanting flag-crazy zombies standing outside the White House celebrating his long overdue demise. GO HOME sheeple!! seriously why do people feel the need to be part of an obnoxious mob. don't they have friends/family to share this moment with??!* remember those repulsive, hateful, chanting crowds celebrating after the terrorist attacks in 2001.... we should not - EVER - be them :|

* our boys stayed up till 9pm watching the news and hanging on Obama's every word (and his strut to and from the podium - GOBAMA 2012!!! but first, that man neeeeeeds a vacation and some vitamin C... he's soooo tired and pasty looking ;)

off to walk dogs, wear arm brace (tennis elbow, i hate you) and marvel over my new obsession with Cetaphil - today i am going to blend it with a little peace potion and see if i can make it more sniffy, vivacious and uplifting ;) back later xoxooxxoxoxoxoxo
