... that a monkey is better at taking self portraits than me :|
... that a 2011 toyota sienna driving at 100mph feels smoother than a 2001 honda odyssey driving at 50mph... this could be very bad news for my driving record :| but i have been getting everywhere super fast lately :)
... that i can answer the phone with the steering wheel :| (no clue how it works, but i pressed a button with a phone on it, and the music turned off by magic (also controlled by the steering wheel!!! it's like a spaceship!) and Aaron started talking out of the steering wheel! and when i answered him, he heard me! how!?!) then when he was gone, the music started again -curiouser and curiouser...
... that there are waaaay too many calories in the mcdonalds mccafe mcfrappe thingie. can't have ANY more (except the one i just had.... 460 calories, i am not kidding)
... that dunkin donuts frappe, in comparison, is really horrible and burnt tasting :| (but the jelly donuts never disappoint!)
.... that George Clooney IS a hunk, i met a very nice lady who has worked with him and even though she didn't sniff him, she said he is most definitely a hunk (be still my heart!!! i knew it!) i read he smells 'clean' online (grrr... but what kind of tinpot useless description is clean???!)
... that Kate and i are Canon fans :)
.... that although i really want to see Will and Kate in LA, i am too afraid of large crowds of overbearing annoying people to do so :|
that "pilates for 50+" is much easier to do that regular pilates for real life human beans
.... that Ruby's is sooooooo much nicer than Steak and Shake - ohhhh my gosh, it was like being back in England! the plates were like something out of a children's tea set! i ordered a salad and i swear it was one carrot (unevenly grated, i might unhappily add) and one lettuce leaf :| i am an AMERICAN for heaven's sake, i expect enough food to feed the 5k AND have a doggy bag to take home :| and the so-called shake was like a sample from Costco... thimble size!!! at Ruby's you get a big glass AND the big metal thing ;) and the fries are endless. (i am sooooo American:)
... that you can't swim in a thunderstorm (but swimming in a tropical downpour under a very spooky sky was AWESOME while it lasted!)
... that the light on top of the Luxor is 42.3 billion candle power :)
... that said light goes out at precisely midnight :)
... that a 6 year old takes up 95% of a queen sized bed :|
... that the way Las Vegas casinos keep from going broke is by having their toilet paper hanging down BEHIND the roll... i kept turning it around and they kept turning it back again, because they know it means money coming towards the toilet paper user, if the paper is over the roll, not under ;)
... that my iphone won't work with the charger plugged in (i wonder if it's just me...)
... that Oprah radio is slightly more interesting than complete silence on long car rides :) according to Dr Oz you only really crave bad foods for 20 minutes per day and if you implement a strategy for how to deal with those few minutes each day, you will unlock the key to being THIN! (my strategy is going to be tetris and water - and no ginger cat cookies!)
... that Mr Bumps neeeeeeeds a cat bed of his own (poor Mr Bumps...)
back tomorrow with pics of Will and Kate (or not ;) xoxox
