confessing
that second grade math homework had me stumped yesterday :| i give up, it's too hard! and it's the first week!! (sob)
wondering
if it's too soon to exfoliate the hell out of my face again. because:
a) i have skin again
b) i love the burn-y feeling :)
ditching
the boy scout flag ceremony thing at school
this morning because:
a) it's too hot
b) that thing is so boring
c) i
am scared of climbing the ladder to take the big picture ;)
hoping and praying
that doesn't make me a bad Mummy :( he's completely adorable and scout-ish....
wishing
i could arrange flowers - ladies should be able to do such ladylike things and surely me not being able to do so, invalidates my lady-ness :(
not really liking
that Katie Couric talk show, which is sad because i have looooooved her since i moved here and have wanted her to do a talk show forever and replace that self absorbed, hopelessly out of touch Oprah. now to be fair, i have only watched one show so far ;) but it was awful, just awful - about some boring woman who wrote a book (huge eye roll) about daring greatly (or something... i had to surf at the same time to stay awake) and doing things your gut tells you not to do. seriously? don't tell me, next week there will be another woman with another book she just wrote about listening to your gut and not being too daring and crazy. urgh. i don't want authors and actors and people selling their stuff - i want ordinary people with extraordinary lives and shocking shameful secrets. she better figure this shit out and fast or i'm going back to Dr Drew
obsessing
ever so slightly over the Scottish mom who became a madam on the Upper East Side. because that, FYI, Katie Couric, isn't just interesting - it's completely fascinating! so please have her on the show!!!
going
on a date tonight (via a Trader Joe's or two to check for pumpkin loaf ;)
not eating
on said datenight though because i have 11 pounds to lose in 7 weeks (is that even possible? must look into blood/bone marrow/organ donation... my nails and hair as as short as they can possibly be....)
neeeeeeeding
more coffee - back later xoxo
