drove to LA in the rain listening to songs that begin with S - something is definitely up with my iPod. it only plays songs that begin with S :|
went absolutely NUTS at my GPS because she would NOT stop talking and i hadn't even asked her for directions - every 2 seconds she was interrupting the songs and saying all the Spanish street names like someone from Iowa :| i turned down the volume, muted her completely, reset her settings, turned the thing off, completely unplugged it and finally stuffed her in the glove compartment. but noooo, she was STILL TALKING REALLY REALLY LOUD through the steering wheel!!! like the car was possessed.... finally when i got to LA i jumped out of the car and ran away as fast as i could - and guess what, she was still talking!!!! because she was on my PHONE!!! don't worry, i deleted mapquest and she's gone :|
dropped the littlest car off for it's trip to Massachusetts - it looked excited, but tentative
found a 'stray' cat and stressed about how i was going to get it to Cape Cod (luckily Boots wasn't homeless after all, phew!)
went to Walmart in Cerritos and bought every pet travel product they sell
also bought way more jeans and sweat pants than necessary for the boys.... surely they sell clothes in Massachusetts...? but just to be safe.....
also bought eyelash serum as it promises fantastic results ;)
went to Good Will with more stuff - i wonder if they are sick of us yet....
got a major headache and had pita chips, diet coke and aleve for lunch
convinced a sick little boy that he's too sick to go to a party in the rain today.... sigh
doing more packing/list-making/note-sending/planning/routing/reserving/app-downloading (it is NEVER ENDING!!!!)
because 4 crates wasn't going to be enough....
is it lame to keep a napkin forever and never use it...? because i LOVE this napkin ;)
i'm really trying to enjoy myself with no regrets ;)
last day in L.A....
