giving thanks for the little things and the really big things

thankful that i no longer cry like a total sap when i cross this bridge

(because it's not goodbye anymore :)

 

thankful for warm cuddly dogs

 

and velvety rich starry skies

 

and fish eye lenses and hubbies who insist i really DO need it

when i bite my cheek and insist that i really don't....

 

and hubbies who understand man-type things like exposure and spend hours on the deck capturing the stars when i'm too cold and impatient to keep trying everytime a dog walks in front of the tripod ;)

 

thankful for this perfectly white house (please pardon the HIDEOUS drop cloths on the furniture -

my pets being in someone else's pretty house is stressing me out ;)

 

thankful for Christmas Tree trimming (well, watching people trim the tree... it exhausts me :)

 

thankful flashback to 2008... our first trip to Cape Cod (i am pretty sure this is the

Christmas Tree Shops...)  i am so thankful for Melissa taking me under her wing and saving me

(she knows why xoxo)

also: OMG our foreheads???  we have NO WRINKLES!!!!  Cape Cod is magic!

oh yessss... it was the Christmas Tree Shops ;)

 we went to Gordon Ramsay's place and i asked for ketchup on my burger so

he would hopefully come out and stand two inches from me and yell in my face for being a donkey

and i would get to lean in and sniff him - but it didn't happen :(   

 

holy shit.  i live here now :|  thankful times a million for that xoxoxo
