today's must-have major craving:
a friendly's fishamajig with the burntest french fries ever and a 3 scoop sundae and 3 toppings and cotton candy soda with 2 cherries
today's woe:
finger stab wound (stupid dumb scissors)
today's bad idea:
Walmart. oh my gawd, NOOO :|
today's good idea:
spotify... oh my gosh, YESSSSS! :) i know every word of the song from Cheers. and the Golden Girls too. and Only Fools and Horses :)
today's google searches:
"can you make friendly's cotton candy soda at home?" (yes, with sprite and cotton candy syrup: but where to find that???? and cherries, those sticky ones you get in a jar that probably aren't very healthy....)
"how long do cats live for?" (way too long: 14-20 years)
"whatever happened to Bonwit Teller?"(it liquidated in about 1990 before Bill Clinton came along, just like a song, and tinked his wand and fixed the entire world)
"who killed Gianni Versace?" (Andrew Cunanan)
"where did JFK Jnr's plane crash?" (off the coast of Westport)
(what on earth did my curious never-not-wondering-something mind do before the internet was invented....?)
today's songs:
"maybe i'm amazed" Paul McCartney
"so whatcha want" the Beastie Boys (a beach house, it can even be a small one. but it must be ON the beach, not across the road from the beach)
"we're in this together" Nine Inch Nails
"ask" the Smiths (for a beach house - see above)
"please, please, please let me get what i want" the Smiths (ie the beach house, oceanfront only, and no jagged rocks on the beach, just sand: clean, white - not that dirty gritty sand. must have shells and in an ideal world unbroken sand dollars ;)
"losing my religion" R.E.M. i've never actually listened to all 4 minutes 27 seconds from start to finish, it's soooo overplayed and burnt out and blah
"why not smile?" R.E.M. (thanks to my honey, it's beautiful xoxoxo)
today's breath-taking realization:
for the first time ever i can totally relate to Morrissey's hopelessly negative outlook on life (this is surely not a good thing.... my prescriptions have been woefully overlooked and un-refilled for far far far too long.
today's other realization:
don't tell anyone.... but i kinda didn't love Summer here... it was too hot and humid and sticky and busy and intense and crowded. that's why i need a beach house. on a beach where no-one else exists ;) by the sea NOT across the street from it. with clean sand and shells. and sand dollars. and a Subway nearby :)
