it's the most wonderful time of the year again at Trader Joe's :)  pumpkin EVERYTHING!!!

back to school night snuggle

third grade classroom (with the new panorama feature of IOS7 ;)

half days at school = cute lunchdates

and this heavenly slightly charred pizza

today's lunch - intoxicatingly awesome Indian food

that yellow stuff was soooooooooo good - chick pea curry (huh!)

 this morning's project - the pretty chandelier!

today's treasure: we found these crazy Jonathan Adler-esque chairs at the side of the road

and ended up spending hoooooours talking to their former owner who is moving to the beach....

she gave me a bottle of perfume, which was so unexpected and sweet

and in passing said she loves the Sound of Music, but it's too expensive to buy on DVD

(so i'm paying it forward and taking her our never-watched copy tomorrow ;)

today's other treasure: Flippy, found terrified and alone on a double yellow line in TRAFFIC 

(oh yes, i stopped for him... then got all worried it might be a trick to carjack me :)

hopefully we find his real owner soon... if not, Danny is already in line to adopt him ;)
