this weekend BOTH our ratties died :( Smokey on Saturday, and Rosie on Sunday. i would suspect they were poisoned and launch a full scale investigation and ultimately blame the UPS man who is responsible for everything in my book... if they weren't 150 in human years and soul mates. when Rosie stopped eating, Smokey (who weighed at least 10 pounds!) stopped eating too and they were snuggled together till the very end of their lives. it's sad... but kinda sweet too ;)
it's unrelated... but did you know you get free guacamole at Chipotle if you order a veggie meal? i didn't (until just now ;)
it was a horribly productive day thanks to the stupid internet not working. i vacuumed. cleaned the windows. packed up the rats' possessions (sob) did 17000 loads of laundry. replaced the stinky dog beds. made a playlist. walked uphill for an hour at the gym. went to three different body shops to get the pesky little dent removed from my car ($400...?) stopped for gas. and milk. and stopped for more gas because i deemed the first garage to be far too expensive :) swept the garage. painted some twigs white. returned lame things to TJ Maxx. shook my head at the rows upon rows of disgusting ugly sneakers. bought more lame things at TJ Maxx. got daffodils at the grocery store. replaced all our supposed-to-be vanilla towels for new ones in Target. bought enough dark chocolate cheerios to last till next year. made post-school snacks. and three different dinners for four people (argh). did more laundry. cleaned litter boxes. and it's only 4pm. i missed the internet A LOT!
off for dinner and therapy - oh Dr Phil i love you so. you keep me sane. or maybe just less crazy :)

Sorry to hear about your rats. :( We had one die in AZ. They are great pets! And you had me google-ing about the whole hammer and cork screw thing. I am still confused. :P
