sunday things

can you believe i saw 20 questions for FOUR DOLLARS today at walmart?! (yes i go almost everyday:) i thought about returning my armful of FIVE DOLLAR 20 questions and replacing them with FOUR DOLLAR 20 questions and eventually came to my senses and decided probably even Suze wouldn't be that penickety for a couple of dollars.

last night i had the scariest dream - we bounced a check! we accidentally had used a check for an account that we closed but the damage was done already.... i awoke in a mad panic, as i had just issued two checks for the school yearbook from an old check book i found in a pile of dust under the desk! i hadn't even thought about that old checking account in months! i scrambled to find the book, my fingers trembling with fear... but alas it was for the RIGHT account. but could i get back to sleep after all that kerfuffle? nope.

that Peter Kay (who i honestly DID go to school with - you can even read about our school's Alton Towers annual outing in his autobiography) is such a barefaced liar!! i was reading on the BBC website that his claim to fame is that the Mount's metalwork teacher was Steve Coogan's dad. it's so not true!! he was this wiry Christian man who wrote this really really really terrible song to raise money for starving Ethiopians called "Mama, will I die today?" oh it was brutal - he made us listen to it everyday and lucky me, he was my homeroom teacher that year... he made us all buy at least one copy. he wasn't even as old as Steve Coogan, never mind his Dad....

off to watch the blue planet... back later ;)
