oh how i dislike with a passion the time change thing. it's a definite pro for moving to Arizona, who don't put up with that nonsense at all. the day the clocks change i feel soooo tired that i start to convince myself i need blood tests and a MRI to figure out why i am sooooo tired and to definitely not miss another week without multivitamins and vow to eat properly starting tomorrow...
yippee!!! we booked the last leg of our vacation today (overexcited clapping!) we found a hotel in NYC for easter weekend with free parking for $110.... and it doesn't rent rooms by the hour! now we can actually start planning which pizza joints, museums and statues in Central Park are the most photogenic and fun to visit... we are soooo totally going to FAO Schwarz to adopt a Lee Middleton baby doll too :)
today i went to pick lavender on the little walking trail by our house. why do i get sick to my shoes when i do this? there is no sign to say 'don't pick the lavender' but i just feel awful and guilty every time (not that it stops me:) i even googled 'is it ok to pick lavender on the trail' and not one single response said 'yes'.
i spent all last night poring over online guides about New England... i found a place that sounds so amazing and so wonderful, i cannot NOT go to there. they supposedly have the yummiest, most jelliest jelly donuts in the world, so jellyish, one reviewer wrote, he thought he had bitten through his lip and was bleeding profusely (which makes me wonder... does this man have no sensation in his lips...? he should really see a doctor about that) well, with a review like that, how can one resist??! sure, it's a one hour 45 minute drive west of the JFK Library which is our actual destination on 'Boston day' but i HAVE to try that jelly donut...
