why oh why oh why........

when i already have a perfect vacation booked, do i get THREE amazing vacation offers in my inbox all at once? a flight across the country for $138? vegas for $29? even a week at disneyworld with flights, car, disney hotel and park passes for $530 from the west coast in mid summer!!! damn you travelzoo! seriously, stop!! it's just cruel! but, can i unsubscribe......? nope!

danny and the teeshirts are driving me insane. short drive, yeah yeah. but.... argh! he had to check just in case they came last night. and again this morning. and he won't stop talking about them and his pouty lip is big enough to sit on if i so much as suggest they might be days away. i would try to frankenstein one together with photoshop and transfer paper but that kind of stuff leaves me feeling very insufficient.

so today is Sam's lunch with the teacher thing for star of the week. it started out that kids just ate their lunch with the teacher - simple! however each week, each parent has gazumped the last by delivering lunch to school. this week is my turn to impress... i couldn't get wolfgang puck to cater, nor the cast of high school musical to provide entertainment so i am officially screwed and it's going to be a disaster.

but... at least it's raining! that means we get to cancel our walk and stay home and play "homeschool" (to which he replied "you're not a teacher, you're just a mom" :(
