wednesday things

1. i am bleaching my teeth as i type. i am pretty sure if the little strip hurts your teeth it isn't good for you - but it must be working, right??! no pain, no gain :)

2. took Sam to the dentist. he has an extra tooth in between his front two grown-up teeth that needs to be surgically removed... i was hoping it would conveniently disappear but nooooo, it's still there... sigh. did you know that 10% of people have teething abnormalities? uhuh....

3. as usual, while perusing the magazines in the waiting room, i found a recipe i HAD to have in an old copy of wondertime, a magazine i used to get but refused to renew when they sent me a totally rude red letter late notice for not paying my renewal when i never said i would renew in the first place. anyways, the recipe promised the brownies were sooo fudgy, they needed to be cut into tiny pieces and eaten with extreme caution (amateurs, clearly) and not 'gulped down'... so rich and fudgy are they. well i had to have that recipe. one phoney drawn-out cough later, the recipe was safely tucked in my pocket, and only one lady in the waiting room was smiling to herself.

4. felt sick with the rush of adrenalin all the way home and had to lie down and watch mindless TV...

5. ...this season of Real Housewives of New York really really sucks...

6. has it been 15 minutes yet....?

7. i am dying to make kentucky butter cake. there is a rumor going around facebook that it is heart-stoppingly good and you should have a crash cart and defibrillator at the ready- i'm allll over it :)

8. got my cameras back - clean as can be and smelling like fresh alcohol, as opposed to stale alcohol/mouthwash

9. so looking forward to some much needed mommies-with-cameras playtime tomorrow... no rain allowed! partly cloudy and 63 degrees, it's looking like a perfect softbox kind of day :)
