i have finally landed back on pacific standard time - thanks to a handful of unisom and a couple of super late nights watching George Clooney on ER... and the sweet dreams that follow

today we went to the beach. it took less than an hour to get there via Malibu and 3.5 hours to drive the 'short cut' home on the wicked 101 :| the 101 might as well be called the 666, it is evil, ugly and full of meanies. a family had crashed in their minivan and no-one would stop long enough for them to run to the shoulder with their little boy and baby. this is why they don't make 'i love LA' teeshirts in a nutshell. and why i belong as far, far away from here as possible - namely, Cape Cod, MA

i have watched the Elizabeth Edwards Oprah twice so far and plan on sending her a note. i want Elizabeth to know if she ever needs any help playing her "temporary insanity" card, she has a friend in me - and i am a pretty good aim thanks to my years of sharp shooting moving targets through a 300mm lens:) that woman... and that man - that snake of a man. i never liked him, wouldn't have put his bumper sticker on my car and wouldn't want to stand on the tarmac at the airport, to see him land. i don't care if he wears a blue tie or not, he's a lizard. he could play Randal from Monsters Inc with no costume required

off to cut my boys' hair super short for tomorrow's palm springs photoshoot, make churros, order pizza and garlic knots, watch Hotel for Dogs with kids in PJs and eat all those churros with warm honey and cinnamon sugar :)
