thursday thoughts

i wonder why i cannot get back onto pacific standard time? every morning, the same annoying bio-rhythmic dysfunction - wide awake at 5am. today 4am, it gets worse not better! and in my sleep deprived state i am wondering why eastern standard time isn't atlantic standard time...

Aaron brought home maggiano's spaghetti with meat sauce for dinner last night :) how does he know? how can he read my mind like that? it's so good.... and such a total bargain, it costs $13 for so much spaghetti it feeds entire 4 thousand of us for 2 days straight (and lunches too!) annnnd you get an entire loaf of bread with it :) have i mentioned i can never move to a city that doesn't have maggiano's? hmm, unless that city has bertucci's (boston has both)

anyway i awoke with a busy bee in my bonnet to replace every.single.picture.in.every.single.frame in the house :| so my computer is moving at the speed of the workers at the NYPD impound yard this morning (don't ask how i know how slowly they work...it's especially traumatizingly slow when you have 2 hours to catch your flight OUT of NYC;) i have 30 pictures open awaiting resizing, fixing and sending off to costco. clearly my computer is subpar and cannot handle such a small workload ;) anyway, i change my pictures out sooo often, i just send them to costco anymore and they do a pretty good job if you don't forget to unclick 'autocorrect' and they print square sizes for $3 in an hour. and you can get a churro and iced coffee on the way out for another $3. did i mention i can't move that far from a costco either :)

i have become completely obsessed with people called George. i love every George i can think of with terrifying stalkerish obsession. in fact i only know one George i dislike. hmm, maybe two, if you count his Dad...

it's official, i love my new $800 camera. it's small and chipper and handles like a mini cooper with real shock absorbers and real cup holders that can hold a big gulp (did i ever mention how much we lamented buying our mini cooper with the cup holders so small they only held a can and had a big hole in the bottom of the change drawer?! hated it... sold it...) the iso button is right next to the clickie thing button. and i love love love the kit lens... yes i am saying it loud and proud - i love it!! (it's entirely uncool to admit to all of the above but it's all true gladly:)

part of our therapy is wearing 'i love new york' tee shirts (we have 7 for $10 in the back of the closet) and we will wear the damned tee shirts til we feel the love again :)
