dear ladybug song you are very nice indeed for little kids to learn their numbers to, but i wish you would get out of my head now - shoo! there it goes AGAIN...
ok i hate my iPod (with the wheel on it) and i am officially banishing it to the drawer of "dead to me" things, along with my battery grip, card reader that only works half the time and the little pink piggie, that i used to carry on my camera strap to get kids to laugh, who sees fit to snort and flash his nostrils at me, at the most inopportune moments (rude). anyway the iPod is DANGEROUS and should be banned! i plan to ask Dr Phil to do a show on it and i will appear as his first guest to speak of today's almost crash on the 91 while i was trying to find "layla" by derek and the dominoes (it WAS an emergency honestly, i had to find it right that second). firstly the iPod needs to be banned! secondly if i do buy a new song, obviously i want to HEAR IT so it should automatically notice that i bought it and put it on my iPod next time i plug it in. and thirdly... i just really want one of Dr Phil's handkerchiefs and this is the least embarrassing way to get it.
the 2009 batch of caterpillars have arrived! Sam refused to name his, he is far too cool for that and they are simply known as 1 to 24, it reminds me of a concentration camp :( and we WILL be working on names tonight for our guests (not prisoners). Danny's names are much more original... my favorites being 'watch out!', 'runaway from bass', 'hug' and 'kiss' :)
this is so sad... Danny today asked if i could help him 'fix up all his owies'. he wasn't hurt at all but said with a blubbering lip that he doesn't like his scar over his eye and his missing front tooth and wants to be perfect again. sob. i don't know where it came from... but i intend to find out and have words with whoever made him feel less than 200% absolutely perfect. bring it on!!
pics from our day so far...
there was a sign at the arboretum saying 'absolutely no posed photography without permit'. whatever!
yes i went to the top of the play place and down the slide with him - over and over and over to his squealing delight. with my scratch-free perfect new camera :| while wearing a SKIRT :|
this is what i get when i ask him to sit criss-cross-apple-sauce :|
