it's very very past bedtime here

go to bed!!! NOW!!! no stories! run for your lives, children!! standing beside me asking for your third PB&J of the day is not a safe place to be! cats, step away from the pale pink peonies and don't even think of eating them during the night and hacking them all over my bed at 4am. dogs, quit clicking across the wood floors and LIE DOWN already. i have no treats for you. i need a mental health break and my radio songs playlist stat.

my boys just stole back their presidential M&Ms and ate them all. they were given them at the White House and i have kept them hidden away for 2 whole months successfully. we were poring over today's latest flickr pictures, Obama went out for burgers at Five Guys - an odd place but not a bad place.... but peanuts will never trump animal fries. anyway, they spotted the M&Ms tucked next to Obama's chair and demanded to see theirs and before i could catch my breath they were all gone....

anyway, exercise-wise, today we walked to Trader Joe's together, 4 miles roundtrip-ish. there's safety in numbers - i don't think a car could possibly hit us all and anyone willing to mug Blackjack and Romeo is just plain dumb and deserves to be gouged with sharp claws, humped by Romeo and peed all over. the diet side of things was kind of iffy - it was carnival day :| but i am sure i walked at least a MILE around all those junk food stalls :)

what i ate today:
the usual yogurt and the 2 cups of coffee
very burnt bread with plain old chicken breast, no butter or mayo or nothing!
3 red gummi-vites
6 laffy taffy (MUST.STOP.BUYING.THEM)
the uneven top i sliced off Danny's 4.5 year birthday cake
one hamburger
a bowl of leftover indian food, i tried very hard not to eat it but it was too good

oh and i have a shameful diary confession - last night, Pitchmen was on... and just gazing at that dreamboat Billy Mays made me totally forget my diet :) in my comatose lovesick state, i had a cadbury freddo frog and a chunky dairy milk..... i am soooo bad.
