lens baby movielette



4:43am! that's when i woke up :| thanks to a stupid dream about chopping up meat, grr.

and an insatiable desire to make waffles for breakfast and be the perfect mother. i made 10 grain waffles. the recipe said for 'delightfully light' waffles i should beat the egg whites. but i don't do stuff like that so i just mixed it all together. they are heavy and look like terracotta roof tiles. i don't think my kids will eat them. it's a lose lose - i don't get to be mother of the year AND i have to make a second breakfast :( AND have my dogs push them around the floor judgingly with their noses.

i don't get facebook. i know... i am not going there again but honestly, why??? i never have a status so important that i would go there to post it. it's full of really generic crap quizzes that i don't care the results to MY quiz let alone the results to 209 friends.... sigh, i don't get it. i just don't get it!!!

i hate when my hair looks bad all day and looks good as i am going to bed. so i sleep very carefully on it and don't turn at all so i can wake up with good hair and when i get up it is ugly again. i don't think longer blonder hair suits me. but no-one recognized me at the carnival yesterday so that was good, i guess. being unrecognizable is quite fun.

today we have a childfree day. what on earth will we do to fill it without our little darlings scampering around hugging our legs and gazing up at us with their huge doe eyes? sigh... it's going to be a lonely and quiet day, i am afraid :)

    okay..love that you have video..i so wish i could do that on my camera..LUCKY :) the sound of the ocean really made me miss home.

    I make whole grain waffles with flax seed and applesauce, they are heavy but syrup helps.

    weekly weigh in? that might motivate me more but it might be too depressing. i don't have a scale that works ...oh wait, i have the wii fit.

    and isn't laffy taffy fat free? i think you're good.
    i only like facebook for keeping up with my vegas friends, it really is neat to see what they are doing. the quizzes are out of control and lame though i am guilty of taking a few...after i take them i think...thats 3 minutes of my life i can't get back.

    Aww, keep your chin up, it will get better. None of us are mother of the year.... but we are all great mothers with children that love us. Enjoy your day without them though, we all need that once in awhile!!
