these are a few of my favorite (trader joe's) things!

oh Trader Joe. i can never, ever move more than 25 minutes away from you, i love you so

  • fresh flowers for under $5, orchids for $7 :)
  • awesome steaks (and only 4.5 grams of fat)
  • 97% fat free hebrew national hot dogs - that is 40 calories, 1.5 fat grams per hot dog!! you can't shake a stick at that!
  • bananas so huge they could feed an entire family! now as everyone knows, one should buy one's fruits and veggies as small as humanly possible to get as many for a pound as possible BUT at Trader Joes you pay by the banana so i always find the biggest ones possible :)
  • the raisin medley - they make perfect scones
  • speaking of which, trader joes make perfect scones also
  • truffle brownies (i no longer punish myself by making the styrofoam no pudge variety)
  • way more chocolate chip chocolate chip cookies
  • garlic naan
  • tikka masala sauce (to dip the above-mentioned bread in)
  • marguerita pizza, sooooo good!
  • next to Godliness hand soap... lavendery foamy holiness
  • tea tree tingle shampoo and conditioner
  • umm... and the lavender shampoo and conditioner too (can you believe i bring all this home on foot...?)
  • lavender laundry detergent
  • egg white salad
  • parbaked french bread
  • lavash - sooo good and 1.5 grams of fat :)
  • jo-jo cookies (especially the minty ones at yuletide!)
i know there are so many more but without trolling the aisles i can't remember everything i bring home. but suffice to say... i love Trader Joe (whoever he is... i wonder if he's cute:)

  1. Oh, I so love the flowers! I got a big bundle of peony buds. I can't wait to watch them bloom. I've never seen them open and they are so unusual. My mom and I are very excited.

I couldn't be more thankful to TJ!!!
