is it tuesday...?

because if it's still monday i am going straight back to bed. yesterday S-U-H-U-C-K-E-D. you know a day sucks when:

• you find nothing worth buying at all at walmart
• so you go to target and the exact same thing happens there...
• ... even after your kid picks up the most adorable colorful small paul umbrella
  
• you don't finish all your in-n-out french fries and neither do your 8 and 4 year old
• you have two appointments (the first available of the day both times) for two very important things and you still have to wait and wait and wait....
• your kid needs a blood test and he keeps it together better than his mum...
  
• your sweet beloved pet needs to be put to sleep and you cannot wait to just see them not struggling to breathe and not crying in pain any longer, after the most sleepless awful stressful night ever...
  
• you don't want to ride your purple bicycle at all, not even look at it
• the brand new twirly pettiskirt dress hangs in the closet all day without even a peek at it's pointless girly loveliness....
• you take zero pictures
  
• you bake and bake and bake, but it's for the dogs because you have no taste buds left
  
• even watching jon and kate fight over their kitchen remodel doesn't make you happy
• you watch wayne's world and don't even have the energy to think 'what the hell is this crap?!' and change the channel
  
• you are too tired and down to even chuckle and wince in embarrassment through 'dance your ass off'
  

today is going to be better.... i know it is. the sky is full of beautifully carefree white clouds and it looks, to me, very much like a huntington beach under the pier kind of morning.... followed by a kid movie... followed by a cool breezy bike ride through the park...
