O.K. I feel a bit like your Mum having a chat with you about a certain undesirable friend, but you have to stop loving Lady Gaga. Really. I saw her interviewed on Jonathan Ross and she was as dull as dishwater. She just sat there like a loon, drinking from an ugly tea cup and had nothing remotely interesting to say. Later, she left aforementioned tea cup at a restaurant, had a huge hissy and ended up spending the GDP of a small country having a black cab retrieve it for her. Honestly Carol. You are way too cool for Stefani Joanne Stupid-Face.

  4. Tarnya I saw that interview - I think it was all Jonathan Ross's fault! He's the boring one! I hate his lame floppy hair and his inability to say his Ls (it's cute when you're 5 and missing a front tooth... but not when you're 55 and not so cute...) Yes she was a tad bit dull but I am blaming jetlag and feeling intense intimidation from being in the coolest place on earth :) I still love her to pieces (even though she is a nikon person:)

Corey, I want to hear your password system, I NEEEED to hear your password system.

And Graham, I would have loved to at least be in the country for her funeral, I cried and cried that week. She was just the best (and she loved Barry Manilow and George Michael and hamsters, how could anyone just love her:)

Well, I can't argue with the comments about Jonathan Ross (Woss), but I promise you, one day you are going to feel foolish about your crush in Lady Gag-gag. Remember the bugaboo? How you felt all star-struck when you first met it? And then as you got to know it, you learned to see through it's trendy looks and you dismissed how easy it is to push (lots of buggies are) and your saw it for what it really is - a one thousand dollar show pony that requires a degree and the patience of a saint to get it folded.
    Mmmmm?
    I'm telling you Carol, she's a bugaboo-boo.

  7. you were so very right about the bugaboo T... and i have thought so many times about the cool stroller analogy while watching her perform (as i am sure everyone does:)

i soooo heartily want to believe that lady gaga is more than just a corporate machine.... but you're *probably* right as always, Mum :)
