i want to go to vegas.....
like right now!!!!
it would take me approximately 7 minutes to be ready (ok, maybe 10)
i would previously have happily stayed at Excalibur since they always have a million unoccupied rooms available at any given time
yes i know everyone hates Excalibur...
but i used to think it was pretty awesome!
you can park really really really close to the elevators
and it's also close to check-in
in vegas the mean people who design the casinos have guests walk an elaborate route past every gaming table and slot machine to get their bags from their car to their room
and i hate being manipulated like that!
at Excalibur it's not like that
however..........
my shining knight is starting to develop some holes in it's armor :|
like a $7.50 'resort fee' :|
and i HATE resort fees!
just charge me an extra $7.50 on my room rate
and save me the mental anguish of wondering what on earth that fee is for...
and trying to use every last service to get my money's worth
and ps i don't ever read the newspaper so i don't think paying $7.50 is at all ok :|
(and parking should always always always be free!)
and now this discreet notice on their website: no photography in any public areas of Excalibur :|

no pics of the ridiculous breakfasts of scrambled eggs next to chicken fried rice next to spaghetti next to cheese blintzes...?

which is valid at Paris, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Rio, Imperial Palace, Harrahs and Flamingo only :|
so now clearly i have to stay at one of them!
i should ask Excalibur to fix it, huh?
last time i sugguested they fix something that kind of bugged me they did it, because clearly they listen to me!! (i talked to Patricia, the sitter-downer at the buffet when i went with Sam about halving the price for kids, and it was done within a week :)

and i can't not be part of the buffet of buffets elite club!!
