that i didn't notice Pedro Hernandez in Trader Joe's... until i looked up and realized he was the checker, scanning my ginger cat cookies. does celebrating such a significant awful milestone birthday (i can't say the number - it's still too soon and too awful....) mean you're officially dead and incapable of finding the checker just a little bit cute??!
