baby's new love: pancakes! he eats them faster than i can microwave them (like 3 per minute!) in other news, he has a very snotty nose.... and i just noticed all the pieces of pancakes on the floor :| why do babies do this? i want to invent a glass tube with small breathing holes, not big enough for pieces of pancake, that you can place babies in, so they can't throw things on the floor - i'd buy one!!
it is almost our anniversary - we have been married for 15 years of double entendre creating, veggie pizza sharing, roadtripping, snuggy huggy heaven. i want to go to a new Ruths Chris, not the boring one in Irvine... but maybe Santa Barbara? they have that really shiny beach and it's a pretty drive! (there at least... the 101 home... not so much... and i never see a star! and i look!! till i get carsick!! and have my camera at the ready at just below window level and my head scanning constantly.....) i have to look on yelp and see the Santa Barbara one is pretty enough to stage such a special night out and if they'll write our names in chocolate on the creme brulee plate (he always gives me more than my fair share of the berries - he's not at all a Glen Gulia kind of person, which is good. we did see him at a park once in LA though i didn't technically see him until after i left... grr)
whenever we go to Ruths Chris (which we do every single anniversary - no questions axed) the waiter always says "don't touch the plate - it's 10,000 degrees (or some really far fetched number he just made up) and i always do. and i never get burnt. ha!!
so far i have bought 2 quilts. and another is on it's way :| i cannot believe i survived SO LONG without being able to shop for bedding
tomorrow i have to go to the dentist. i always get so worried that my gums have receded too many millimeters or i will need my wisdom teeth removed or something awful. i am not the praying kind but i do clench all my muscles really really really hard for 24 hours beforehand and it seems to help ;) (no tooth grinding allowed)
off to make chicken soup (for the son) and walk the dogs. and place new songs on my ipod. and be happy :)
