REM, solar pictures, lavender and happy tails

listened to 'collapse into now' by REM on my walk. so far i am not sure - i would best describe it as 'hmm'. it's no 'automatic for the people'.... but what is?

walked 12 miles (so in all fairness, it couldn't have been that bad;)

dreamt of making flatbread pizza with 7 kinds of vegetables on it (but didn't make it)

watched RHOC at lunchtime. 'hmm' is all i have to say ;) and also, did i just sleep through the first episode? i am sure i watched it but i don't remember any of the recap... hmm

went to Ross and was woefully disappointed by how crap it was today.... sometimes it's awesome, sometimes (like today - when i want to find a perfect Laura Ashley quilt and adorable knick knacks) total crap :|

watched Danny through the window as he gathered perfect leaves and flowers to make solar pictures with...

helped him with his creations - we made twelve :)

picked lavender and made little bouquets, tied with cozy cottage colored grosgain ribbon, for the bedroom wall :)

spent time with Tommy at the shelter

and an absolutely adorable kitty, named Trouble :)

was there to witness Hobie, who's been at the shelter FOREVER and has been getting slowly sadder and less playful, go to his new home!!! to say i wanted to hug his new owners is an understatement... i was sooooo happy for him - and them... he's the sweetest boy :)

Nikki also went home tonight to a really really good home - her new Daddy is a zookeeper, how many cats can say that??! they also took her sister so she would never be lonely (gawd i love when it all turns out so right!!)

annnnnd Danny got a home!!!! i may or may not have badgered every cattery visitor to 'just hold him' and tonight a little girl and her Mom fell in love with him and adopted him :)

said goodbye to Scooter... who is being adopted later this week :)
