freedom, capris and Princess Diana (who always wore capris:)

today i am entirely child-free!!!! (after i drop child one and child two off at school 2 hours apart and pick them up 1 hour apart, that is...) what on earth will i do with my 3 hours 23 minutes??!! i need cheese slices, lavender washing-up liquid and denim capris. if only Trader Joe's sold clothes, i know they would be simple and perfect :)

walked the dogs. as it gets closer to my tennis elbow procedure (it's tomorrow) my arm hurts soooo much, it's like someone is making pulled pork with the muscles in my arm :|

Sam got the most amazing report card last week that i forgot to brag blog about. he is doing really well in school this year :) also he is doing his "inspiration woman book report" about Princess Diana, which makes me sooooo happy, especially as he chose her without any gentle persuasion from me :) we watched a documentary last night about her, and he found it all the more fascinating because we spent one of his birthdays, visiting the palaces and royal parks of London. i am so glad he remembers, as it was my favorite of all his birthdays so far (we visited the Princess Diana playground, and a little boy accidentally splashed my shoe running through a stream on his way to neverland, and he came rushing back and said he "terribly sorry about that" (bless!!!)

i am so excited to watch the royal wedding (even though i just can't imagine getting up at 3am for it, i HAVE TO see it happen in real time) i just love Prince William - he is SO nice and doesn't talk all fancy like the royals usually do, AND he lives by my Mum and my sister and that supernice Christine girl, who loves cats and bud vases as much as me, in wooliest North Wales :) and because his looks and mannerisms are so much like his Mum's and i miss her so. if i wasn't British, i'd be the hugest anglophile! it's just the nicest place ever and i feel so lucky to be able to call it home :)

off to see if the drugstore has anything magical and miraculous for cold sores. i applied witch hazel for an hour straight - now i can't actually feel my lip anymore but the cold sore is still there... i saw a thing online suggesting lancets and peroxide but i am thinking not that.... (ouch!)

You know what? I don't talk all fancy like the royals either, but Freya does, and I have no idea how...
Have yet to run into William at Tesco, but I'm sure it'll happen anytime now.
Oh, look how little your boy looks there!

oh, and, when we lived in the states i always used zilactin on coldsores. They also reckon rubbing garlic on it is supposed to be good...
