red lobster, bathing kittens and family portraits

trying to decide:
where to go for our second anniversary dinner with the boys tonight... i want to go to "the Red Lobster" SO BADLY - i have wanted to try those cheddar bay biscuits forever!!! but i am sure it will be crap and then i will be pissed and wish we had just gone to Del Taco instead :)

realizing it's really really true:
you know your vacation is days away when you get a huge cold sore :|

also realizing:
today is actually English mother's day, so i could have mailed that gift to my Mum in time - grr!!

recovering from:
bathing FOUR hysterical, wailing, flea-infested kittens with washing up liquid (but ohhhh, they look soooo ridiculously fluffy, shiny and flea-free now!)

loving my hubbie:
even more than i thought possible for helping me and spending hours painstakingly combing each one and removing the remaining fleas with tweezers :)

loving my boys:
for gently drying each kitten in a big fluffy towel and for being such sweet and kind little boys :)

feeling:
blessed and lucky (but not quoting Natalie Merchant because she's just sooooo dull :)

he hated the bow :)

Romeo absolutely adores playing with the kittens :)

OK, we ALL adore playing with the kittens :)

this kitten is so sooooo sweet... he has very sore eyes and needs extra attention and cuddling, obviously :)

  1. sounds like an exciting time bathing all the babies. family time....how cool is that. at my house...it would have just been the Sugar and myself. probably. but....my husband does help with the puppy,so maybe not.

yes....that comment is a rambling piece of junk. sorry.

  2. I love all of the pictures of your foster babies. They make me smile. I was so bummed that you didn't post pictures from the shelter last Monday, but all the neww baby pics have made up for it. They are absolutely adorable. I love their family portrait. How long did it take to get that shot?

  3. Forgot to say, I LOVE Red Lobster. I don't care how lame or cheesy it is. I ate there all the time when I was pregnant with Alex. Did you go? The biscuits are great, but you could probably make them yourself, with bisquick and grated cheddar.

  4. you are the BEST pet photographer (and clearly the best foster-pet-family); soooo cute.

i've been to The Red Lobster twice ever, and it's been over 10 years ago. BUT i seem to remember really really liking the cheese biscuits (and not much else). did you go?
