four more years and three thousand miles

i love Obama and unapologetically feel like the woman on the right about him.  he really needs to stick around another four years and not just because he's adorable :)

 i also love Boston

i did NOT love the 3033 mile drive to Boston however.  though it looks soooo fun, right???!
i drove the dumbass RV so we could just get there already....i drove it really badly.  completely over the lines because it didn't actually fit INSIDE the lines.  and i cursed and invented horrible bad words to express how awful it was... Mrs Dirty Mouth :(  i hated every fucking second.  it gave me hives and i never ever ever want to set foot in an RV ever again. E-V-E-R-!-!-!

there were seconds of awesomeness... like seeing this big arch thingie and it being by a White Castle!

and being greeted by this prettiness in New England :)

and Bumper teaching Romeo how to cross his paws :)

and i admit, it was definitely an adventure of epic proportions.....

though bringing along that tree was the dumbest idea EVER....

especially when a dog peed on it :|

but at the end of that long and winding road was this..... Cape Cod

so it was all (kind of/definitely) worth it :)

  1. Oh Carol, I am sorry, but I am laughing so hard at the RV pictures. It looks like something straight out of a road-trip comedy. The animals stacked up to the ceiling, the bored kids, that big ruler (which I suspect had kid measurements on and couldn't be left behind?) and the tree. Really? A tree? What where you thinking???
I promise that one day when you are far enough away from this, you will look back at the pictures and laugh, and laugh and laugh at the absurdity of this journey.

  2. Tarnya we laughed too!! But about every 4 hours i pushed my way past that tree (always snagging my top on it) and lay on that bed in the back and ohhh how i cried and cried and cried because it was just AWFUL times a million. (but now... in hindsight... so worth it :) the tree is a very essential member of our family - it's a japanese maple i got when my Dad died... i just could NOT leave it behind :) xoxoxo

ps did i mention that i killed the pet mouse by placing him way too close to the AC/heating vent... oh yeah on day one of the trip :|
