showbiz edition

i hate Jennifer Aniston.  i know that's not really breaking news and i don't even have a reason why, but oh my gawd how i hate that woman with her boring never-changing-for-decades-and-decades curtains of hair.  she's soooo boring... she's the poster child for everything that's awful and nauseating about California

in other hateful news, i didn't really need any more reasons to hate Kate Gosselin but now it appears she hates pitbulls.  so i am forced to reiterate my loathing for her.  i admit, when she does an interview about being lonely and unlovable and cries her eyes out to an unsympathetic Dr Drew, it gives me a sense of enormous wellbeing :)

in sad news, Larry Hagman is dead.  i know, i used to despise that man in Dallas too, until i realized he was just a really reaaaally good actor ;)  and did i ever mention he was vegetarian...?  AND from Texas?  (not a vegetarian friendly place, let me tell you ;)  as if i needed a reason to award him more points.  RIP JR Ewing :(

i refused to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade (and not just because i was consumed with jealousy that i wasn't there in person) because they still have that rusted Brillo pad of a man on their commercials.  i won't ever shop at Macy's till they fire him.  OK not that i ever shopped there in the first place...

one thing i wonder whenever i see that unimpressed-with-life Beckham baby/Birkin bag fashion accessory - doesn't she ever poop and it just drips everywhere and all over her Mother's stick insect arm?  or just plain STINK and everyone around is staring and checking the bottom of their shoes for doggy doo doo?  i don't get it - how come she never vomits or poops?  i know they had her made to order but really, you can have babies custom made to not be sick or leak????  that's cool!

i am mildly (ok maybe madly) obsessed with David Bowie's son and his new wife's twitter accounts.  they live in So Cal and seem soooo ridiculously cool and lovely.  and i just know they would be MUCH happier living somewhere nicer like here.  he's sooo funny and soooooo very British and still uses s's instead of z's in his spelling (adorable!) and she's a photographer who loves to cook vegetarian food and is too frugal to spend $7 on a big bag of chips.  honestly, they belong here with us, in Heavenly, MA :)  i'd sooooo invite myself to their house for Christmas dinner and sit beside David Bowie at the piano having a good old singsong about all going down the Strand (and having a banana - why, i have always wondered....)

back later xoxoxo
