to the sound of rain! real un-previously-recorded raindrops dancing like Rockettes' tapshoes at my window! i couldn't work out what was up with my rain machine, it sounded like it was on the fritz with no clearly repetitive pattern. or maybe a cat was eating kibble beside me? but NO!! it was the sound of actual live rain, not from a machine! (psst: i do NOT miss California)

a milking stool yesterday. because you can't just have a boring rubbermaid stepstool on Cape Cod, no: everything must be antiquey and quaint ;) i need to drive to Plymouth to pick it up but i'm NOT going in that stupid ass Walmart. well i am, but only to return something we don't want ;) it's all over for Walmart, they're going down!  also i am going to pluck up courage to go in Charming Charlie. i hope it's just Claire's for grown ups...

Homeland last night. ehhh i don't like it - i'm much more a handsome-policeman-who-solves-heinous-murders kind of person ;) i miss Gideon in Criminal Minds, soooo much... also i hate Claire Danes.  for no reason: other than she's a coldblooded HOMEWRECKER!  i know, i liked her in My So Called Life Too :|

caught up
in all kinds of sadness and drama on Twitter (not me personally, noooo: the peeping tom me, but honestly it's really not peeping if they're tweeting their life story, right?)  i am somewhat/completely fascinated with David Bowie's son (he is SO funny. and nice. and British too!) well last month he got married in a big hurry on Election Day after years of living over the brush (or is it under the brush...?) so naturally i thought they were having an illegitimate love child or something scandalous like that.  but nooooooo - his wife found out she has cancer :(  and she's a photographer :(  just so awful... anyway now they have matching shaved heads and she is going through treatment (fingers crossed).  after me, she definitely won second prize in the husband lottery because he is such a sweetheart :)  (Kate Middleton won third prize: Prince William is a total fox!)

off to brave the rain in my rainboots and puffy jacket and bobble hat - oh yeah i love inclement weather quite a bit actually ;)
