listening
to Automatic for the People (which i unapologetically love more than life itself... it's Aleve to a headache, Peace Potion to tense muscles, vanilla yogurt to an upset hungry tummy, aloe vera to sunburnt skin, a brisk walk on a cold morning, a slightly-too-warm bath when you're shivery, a milky sugary cup of tea when everything is falling apart... in musical form.  always healing

loving
my new stand mixer which some crazy sweet old lady was selling on Craigs List for $60 (oh my lord, how i love Cape Cod!!)  and the new one is even better than my old one - because Cape Cod is just magical like that.  she also had some really adorable cottage-y cute pieces of furniture that she sold us for $5 and $10 (because apparently we look that poor.....?!!)

dying
to make sugar cookies.  i bought a new cookie cutter yesterday - it makes teeny slices of bread!!  so you can make adorable little sandwiches!!  with the edges rolled in cinnamon sugar to look like crusts...

wishing
we had plucked up the courage to go to NYC today (but it was snowy and beautiful and calm this morning and the thought of leaving paradise was unbearable..... next week for sure ;)

waiting
for the arrival of the latest implement of torture/piece of exercise equipment... just getting a head start on the January 1st hatefest ;)

loving
that Jon Bongiovi is team Canon.  and team iPhone too :)  his only flaw: he is team Advil and not team Aleve..... (seriously...? i guess he has to pay for the red striped lenses somehow....?)

happiness is needing a tide clock :)

nuh uh - we live in Suckanesset????  or Suckanutsac as Aaron pronounces it ;) and we found this out in the library where everyone is super quiet and civilized???

watching the snow (note: NOT playing in it;)

Courage wrestling with a sock instead of his sisters....

at the library bookstore - guess which one i bought!  i bet you can't guess!!!!!!!!!!

almost very nearly eight years old :)
