an Earl of Sandwich sandwich. but i'm always never near one :( and ironically there isn't an Earl of Sandwich in Sandwich (or even a Subway for that matter???????) but there is one on Boston Common.... and at 1290 6th Avenue, NYC. weekend for sure.
waiting (as usual)
for the UPS man. he's bringing a gift - a pretty glass mixing bowl for my Kitchenaid mixer and I can't wait!!! I simply cannot bake anything until it arrives though... and we have no pumpkin bread with cream cheese frosting left :(
not loving (and this absolutely never happens...)
Bertucci's. we went there for lunch... it took forever and I started to think about that Mystery Diners episode where one waiter threw away another waiter's tickets so they looked like they sucked at their jobs. well that's exactly what happened. and when the pizza F-I-N-A-L-L-Y came it had cold sudsy tomato weirdness on top and it was beyond gross. sighhhhhh.
needing (but not wanting)
to make my 2012 blurb book. and start my 2013 blurb book. and both boys' birthday blurb books. for this year and LAST year. and a blurb book of Lego Hero Factory portraits. please have a sale blurb!!! and some kind of program that makes the book with zero effort....?
wanting (but not needing)
to dye my hair. I know it will go wrong and be too dark and i'll need to wash it 50 times with Joy and it will be all straw-like and horrible.
loving
Morrissey. and Trader Joe's antioxidant serum. and fuzzy socks. and shopping for Spring bulbs. and happening upon flea markets that only happen once a year in the deepest, most curious corners of Rhode Island. and finding hand-knitted Aran sweaters there for $30! and shiny butterfly wings too (from butterflies the man promised had died of natural causes in South America, the sale of which would help support to the butterfly sanctuary ;)
flashback to one year ago (my hair was ever that short?????!)
saying goodbye to good friends (this was the day Aaron found our Cape Cod house -
which is why I looked SO HAPPY!! but I soooooo miss these sweet friends)
before Judo there was Karate :) and those brand new slightly-too-big new smile :)
Bumper is always watching
last night at Ruby's in the good light on the left side of the diner ;)
choosing the perfect RV in El Monte, CA
one last trip to Ralphs for extreme moose tracks and extreme maximum moose tracks :)
one last dolphin visit
our old drive to school in 90 degree hell-ish traffic
(am I EVER going to miss California....? i'm still waiting...)
