tuesday

every night i lie in bed thinking of things i need to research online. last night was no exception. i almost got up a dozen times to see how much a 24-70mm goes for on eBay, whether Target has Sam's favorite sweatpants on sale this week, how tall Obama is and whether Plymouth, Massachusetts has a Costco. if i get up, i know i am doomed to a photoshop&gummivite all-nighter so i don't dare set foot outside the bed. but how these pressing matters keep me up at night... by the way Obama's 6 ft 1.25 inches tall and Plymouth does NOT have a Costco, which is ok since i don't really like them that much anymore (but do need one for dog food and kitchen roll - although the as-seen-on-tv shamwow is supposed to replace kitchen roll - we'll see about that)

so GWB is allegedly mourning the death of his cat :| while i am not one to dismiss any petlover's pain ... this 'beloved' cat has NO biography on the white house website and wasn't even given a NAME for his first 9 years of life, he was sadly known as "Kitty". Barney and Mrs Beasley, on the other hand, have their own URL and home movies, official portraits, webcams, a section where they answer questions from curious children :(

i had to cancel my season recording of John and Kate plus 8. however much i (love to) despise Kate and her squarestate two-for-the-price-of-one-skunkesque-long-at-the-front-to-look-pertiful-but-short-at-the-back-to-be-wifely-hairdo, her earlobe tugging is the FINAL AGONIZING STRAW. i cannot stand anyone touching their ears but with long dangly earrings, just kill me NOW and get it over with. i also... shhhhhhhh.... don't think their kids are that cute. it's official. i am sooooo going to hell.

i did set to record the Barbara Walters Patrick Swayze interview tonight although i know i'm going to have to watch it with Lala, my favorite pillow, who is capable of holding 30 times her weight in tears - i'm going to bawl my eyes out. he just seems so SO NICE, in the John Travolta category for sure. he has been married for 33 years for heaven's sake (that's a pair-a 3s and should be lucky for him.) we finally watched Dirty Dancing on christmas eve and i would have loved it if it wasn't for that slutty baby disrespecting her law and order abiding father...

so Plymouth has a superwalmart of it's own but trader joes is 19 miles away. there is also no del taco or in-n-out but surely being physically removed from my vices is good... right?? on paper at least. i cannot wait to go and check it all out - oh my gosh, the houses. the houses....... they are drop dead gorgeous, starfish in the windows, densely wooded lots, distressed fences, walking distance to a windswept silent beach - everything on my list. we booked our flights and car last night - massafreakinchussets, here we come!!!
