i believe in treating everyone equally and kindly (at least until they make me mad, then they're dead to me)

i believe in cozy vacation rentals with hand-me-down furnishings and out-of-date kitchen appliances

i believe in always cooking with butter :)

i believe in never wearing shoes in the house

i believe that finding bottlecaps with children is just plain good for my soul

i believe that an end-of-day chat with a child before bedtime is good for their soul

i believe that occasionally having a diet coke for breakfast is an acceptable vice

i believe in finding great local mom & pop restaurants on yelp.com and supporting them

i believe in having no more than 200 facebook friends

i believe in being a fan only of things i really really admire like Barack Obama and lofthouse cookies :)

i believe in never playing a song right to the end in a bid to save time

i believe in only buying small onions and tomatoes that are the perfect size for fresh guacamole with nothing wasted :)

i believe that my iphone is my most useful possession right now (with the ringer permanently off)

i believe that scratchy ugly scented baby wipes should be outlawed

i believe that everyone should have access to medical care

i believe in white bedding (i don't think i will ever change on that...)

i believe neutrogena rainbath and neutrogena shampoo can wash away the remains of a really crappy day

i believe in sitting by the ocean watching the waves crash
