- had oatmeal with peanut butter mixed in for breakfast - the best invention EVER :)
- bought Sam a new book for when he gets home from camp (22 hours to go!!) i love the book, it's one of those that asks you all kinds of questions like who your favorite celebrity is (George Clooney:) and i really want to fill it in! i hope loving the book is not just a lady thing... Danny seems very enchanted with it too ;)
- walked 6.18 miles with the dogs. they were soooooooo sorry they asked to go for a walk when they got home :)
- dined on crackers and laughing cow cheese for lunch and watched a little Teen Mom 2
- read some L-A-M-E attachment parenting article which claims anyone NOT into attachment parenting is (and i quote) "detached, unprotective, and unloving" (????!)
- ran out of chocolate chips and stressed all day when i was going to get a suitable pocket of time to make a mercy dash to Trader Joe's to replenish them (Trader Joe's with dogs in tow = too hard. Trader Joe's squeezed in right before school pick-up = too stressful. Trader Joe's after 4pm = impossible)
- always weirded out by people who don't like bananas (what's not to love??! i want to shake those people and ask what else they don't like... wood fired pizza?? english chocolate??? salt and vinegar popchips??!!)
- tested Danny over and over on his sight words - argghhh!! they are EASY!!!! little words like 'she' and 'was' and 'here'. i think he gets them wrong just to make me crazy....
- lamented Danny's newfound obsession with guns and how (un)acceptable they are at school - since the noon doody told the boys how to make a school appropriate gun (use four fingers, not just the pointer finger) his school artwork has been full of school appropriate gun scenes :| thanks noon doody :|
- cravings fish sticks and cupcakes - but not on the same plate EVER
- counting down the seconds till my camera is home - it is supposedly ready. Aaron is going to pick it up right now. i bet it's not ready :|
back later - possibly, gasp, with pictures!!!!!
