listening
to PJ Harvey. fun-ish fact: our first cat was named Pollyjean ;)
trying
to remember to sit up straight (but honestly it's so much easier to slump...)
wondering
if i should be at all concerned that the LAPD read my blog... i've never committed a felony apart from maybe the nail polish incident(s) and i didn't actually steal it - i just sampled it for heaven's sake! (Tarnya's story about the little girl in Boots being led off in handcuffs has me all worried... also i hope those meanie police didn't smudge her nail polish ;) oh man, i hate grey areas. like surely it's OK to program my GPS at traffic lights...? and if that's OK, then finding a song on my phone should be too? how about looking up a phone number....? and quickly calling the number....? i am just thinking aloud, LAPD (and also husband)... i do not do any of these things :|
also wondering (while thinking about the police)
what happened to that show Southland (more importantly that adorable Ben McKenzie... and the one with the bad back who ironically played a serial killer on Criminal Minds)? also, Law and Order: UK??! anyway, i bet that's why i'm so sleepless these days...i just can't sleep like a log without first watching a 9pm crime show :(
noticing
that all the same people are always all into the same things all at exactly the same time - case in point: gangnam :|
loving
Sam's teacher Miss Moffat (oh my gawd, how i l-o-v-e her cute name... i wonder if she sits on a tuffet :) she sends an email every single day sprinkled with cute British expressions - i love her. yesterday she took chocolate biscuits in for the kids to try... and she has FORTY kids in her class. his new school in MA: twelve kids. uhuh. for real.
needing
to do a stupid walk home from the stupid car dealership which is only 5.6 miles away so for it to even count, i'll have to walk back again in the midday sun. my stupid fat tummy - i will kill you, stupid fat tummy!!! and no more pumpkin bread for you, and i'm not even kidding this time :|
back later with more tales of the unexpected...
